P-51 Mustang Combat Setup

Plane:
http://www.towerhobbies.com/products/... – Andy's Hobby Towne offers this model for $89.00.

Motor Options:
- For a Fast Plane: http://hobbycity.com/hobbyking/store/...
- For a Medium-Speed Plane: http://hobbycity.com/hobbyking/store/...

Speed Controller (ESC):
http://hobbycity.com/hobbyking/store/... – Avoid using a 30A ESC, as the system will draw more current at wide-open throttle (WOT).

Propeller Options:
- APC 8x6 – If using the Fast Motor
- APC 8x7 – If using the Medium-Speed Motor

Additional prop options from Hobby City:

💡 Ensure you balance your propellers properly, as they will be spinning at high speeds.

Battery Recommendation:
- At least 3000mAh 3S LiPo (Zippy batteries work well)

- Recommendation: Get at least two packs to allow for multiple flights.

Servos:
- Any good micro servo will work
- Preferred option: Hitec HS-85MG Micros
- Alternative: http://hobbycity.com/hobbyking/store/...
- You'll need two servos for the electric conversion.

Additional Hardware for Firewall Mount:
- Nylon spacers
- Two 1/2-inch 6-32 machine screws with locknuts

I checked hobbypartz.com, but many items are out of stock. I recommend ordering from Hobby City, where you can get all the required gear for under $130 (including shipping).
